The supply of drinking water to the underprivileged neighborhoods of Port-au-Prince seems at first sight to be a difficult, if not insoluble, problem. At the dawn of the 21st century, some NGOs have partnered with the Haitian State and neighborhood committees to try to find realistic and lasting solutions.
